With the help of this function, the salutatory address for a letter can be created using the salutation title abbreviation in the address. In doing so, this function is so flexible that different salutatory addresses can be created for different addresses. Thus, for example, the salutation ‚Mr.’ can be assigned to the salutatory address ‚Dear Mr. FIRST NAME SURNAME’ and the salutation ‚Child’ can be assigned to the salutatory address ‚Hello FIRST NAME’. And in the case where no direct contact person is known, a general salutation can be used, such as e.g. 'Dear Sir or Madam'. Furthermore, this function can be used to determine the salutation for the address, which is then included in the address in order to reach the right contact person in a larger company. For this purpose, the same options are available as with the determination of the salutatory address for a letter.
